Whatman Partisil-5 ODS-3 HPLC Column

Unused, N.O.S. (new old stock; quality assurance test sheet states 1984). The wrap was removed and one of the sealing stickers was cut to inspect the column. We do this with most chromatography columns, primarily to inspect the condition and to ensure all code numbers match. This column is guaranteed unused and was opened only briefly, and in a clean area for picture/inspection. It is being stored in a clean, dry area. Includes the quality control test data sheet as well as the instructions originally enclosed. Both ends of the column are still sealed in the thick, clear coating. The column metal is not darkened as the photo suggests, this is just shadowing caused by the camera flash.
Both the shrink wrap and sealing stickers were unopened upon receipt, so the column is guaranteed to be unused. However, there are no warranties given as to the suitability of, or results from, this column with any specific procedure. Still, a very expensive column, priced at a fraction of retail.
Partisil 5 is a high-purity irregular silica with a particle size of 5 um. ODS-3 is a C-18 polymeric phase with a 10.5% carbon load. The void volume is 2.62 mL.
