This listing is a brand new RPQ-T1 one liter all-directional planetary ball mill only, grinding jars and balls are sold separately.
Traditional planetary ball mills have problem where milling samples in the bottom are not grinded evenly, RPQ series all-directional planetary ball mills solve this problem by rotating the whole base where 4 jars stations sit, by 360 degree, this way, all samples in the jars will be grinded in virtually any direction, thus maximize the grinding result.
RPQ series ball mills can be used in dry or wet condition, and when equiped with vacuum jars, they can grind samples in a vacuum environment. These ball mills have 4 grinding stations that hold 4 grinding jars simultaneously. when the Sun Wheel rotates, the grinding balls in the planetary jars are subjected to superimposed rotational movements, the so-called Coriolis forces, the difference in speeds between the grinding balls and jars produces an interaction between frictional and impact forces, which releases high dynamic energies. Minimum granularity of final grinded products can be as small as 0.1 micron. Digital panel displays the speed in RPM. Timer controls running time from 1 to 999 minutes, it also controls jars rotation directions and intervals. They are ideal milling tools for acquiring samples for research institutes, universities as well as R&D laboratories.
