Sturdy Nalgene LPE Size D tube with available coil winding area of 18 inches length on the 6 3/4 inch diameter cylinder; the polyethylene material makes an excellent dialectric and can be sanded to a texture appropriate for retaining windings in place
during coil construction. The flares at the top and bottom provide an ideal end stop for the windings.
The sturdy base plate provides an ideal mounting flange when bolt holes are drilled around its perimeter.
