These JAN RCA 12A6Y tubes are the premium low loss brown micanol base version of the 12A6 tube
Heathkit used two 12A6 output tubes in thier A-4, A-7, A-7A, A-7B, A-7C, A-7D and A-7E mono power amplifiers.
Heathkit used the 12A6 as the audio output in the AR-1, AR-2 and AR-3 communications receivers and BR-1 and BR-2 AM broadcast and FM-1 FM braodcast receivers. Heath also used the 12A6 tubes in test equipment such as the C-2 condenser checker and the T-3 signal tracer.
These new old stock JAN RCA 12A6Y tubes are tested as new on our B&K 707 tube tester and made in USA.
