Here is some information from the manufacturer, regarding the 819 Injection Module...
The 819 Injection Module enables you to inject samples onto Gilson's 215 Liquid Handler. The module contains a high-pressure, two-position switching valve that can also be used for fraction collection. It is an effective way to collect fractions when the flow rate is higher than 20 mL/min.
* Carryover is less than 0.01%
* Ideal for analytical to preparative injections
* Make-before-break rotor seal design prevents pressure spikes from injection when operating at high flow rates
