This all purpose strain has for 30 years been selectively bred for size (big, meatier bird) Flight ability ( wing and tail feathers longer) High productivity that produces a large number of eggs, disease resistance which makes them easier to raise, they will mix and interbreed readily with the regular bobwhite. The Georgia Giant weighs about 16 oz. at maturity.
