Fluke 8840A multimeter with gpib interface
This meter has front and rear inputs, plus an IEEE 488 (GPIB) port on the rear. It uses either 2 wire probes or 4 wire probes for precision measurements. The power cord is included, but the probes are not. (I only have one set to share between my other meters)
I purchased this in an employee sale a year ago and really have not had a need for it. I have 6 multimeters already.
I check out the resistance, current and voltage functions and they seem to be working fine. I do not have a GPIB card in my computer so I could not check out that, however I know that this meter was in service until the test set was replaced by an automated version. It was then placed in a warehouse where it stayed for a couple of years.
Cosmetically this meter is in pretty good condition with only a few scratches. .
