FAST, LOW COST CONSTRUCTION ON NEW HAMPHIRE PIKE
"This turnpike runs parallel to U. S. 1, a short distance inland from that route, and about three miles from New Hampshire's short Atlantic coastline. It connects with the Portland-Kittery Maine Turnpike on the north and it will have a temporary connection to Massachusetts roads at the lower end".
Contractor for this portion was Savin Construction Co, East Hartford, Conn. Personnel named:
