The AMX series is a new air motor/spindle its small body incorporates a high torque air motor that allows for large diameter tool machining in very tight locations.
AMX-65 series has 3 speeds available 7,700 min-1(rpm)(46 cN m), 1/1 ratio, 2,800 min-1(rpm)(170 cN m), 1/3 ratio, and 920 min-1(rpm)(410 cN m), 1/9 ratio.
This short body, high torque motor/spindle uses a 125W air motor. The system is perfect for mounting on turret lathes, CNC gang tool lathes, special purpose machines and any other place you need high power and high torque in a small body.

Application Examples of AMX Series
The AMX series uses a vane type air motor coupled with an integral geared speed reducer/torque multiplier and high precision spindle in a single space saving body.
This small body spindle series is capable of delivering high speeds or high torque. It is available in 3 diameters, 1.97"( 50 mm), 2.56"( 65 mm), 3.15"( 80 mm) and 3 motor/reducer configurations, 1/1, 1/3, 1/9 for a total of 24 different types to choose from. There are also different body styles, air configurations and mounting styles, making the application possibilities almost limitless. These spindles are ideal for high-precision milling, drilling, slitting and grinding.
Please use an Air Line Kit, such as NAKANISHI's AL-0304 or AL-951 with these motor spindles

AMX-Straight Body Standard Type
The outside body is made from precision ground, Stainless Steel SUS416.
The outside body is made from precision ground Aluminum to make it lightweight and perfect for robotic applications.
The body is made from precision ground Stainless Steel SUS416 and incorporates a flange for easy 2 bolt mounting.
The AMX series is equipped a rear air intake and remote exhaust configuration.
