The model 433 translation stage with its large 3x4-in platform with precision ball bearing construction providing better than 200 microradian angular deviation. Springs provide preload against the actuator tip to eliminate backlash. Although the stage is capable of traveling a full 1.8-in. (46-mm) with the SM-50 micrometer drive. This stage can also be reconfigured into a left-handed version with the micrometer on the opposite side. Actuators for this stage are sold separately.
