DESCRIPTION: This is an interesting Victorian antique article from an 1892 publication called Amateur Work Illustrated. The article is instruction in constructing a dynamo machine at home, capable of yielding a light of 70-candle power. It is 7 pages with one page of illustrative engravings.
Amateur Work Illustrated was a periodical for amateur craftsmen published over the last years of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Most of the articles were serialized by chapters within the volume; each chapter describing a specific aspect of a process. The writing style is the typical embellished prose of the 19th century.
