Kevlar 49 Style 353 x 50" wide 5.1oz ( 4 Harness Satin Weave ) A Harness-Satin weave bends over complex curves better than either a plain or twill weave.
This is light weight Kevlar 49 composite fabric, it provides the ideal balance of strength, stiffness and light weight properties for many marine, automotive, construction and general purpose applications. Hulls reinforced with Kevlar are lighter yet tougher, more damage tolerant, and perform better. Kevlar 49 fabric is great for canoes, kayaks and racing shells where maximum strength and minimal weight are critical. Kevlar is also far superior to fiberglass where Impact, tear and penetration resistance is needed. This Kevlar is designed for laminating with resins and is not bullet resistant.
