Thermometer with 40:1 Distance-to-Spot Ratio Measures Humidity and Dew PointBecause everything gives off a surface temperature, the 2277-20 is an extremely valuable tool that can help prevent damage to electrical equipment. Accurate to 1.0 percent and featuring embedded non-contact voltage detection, it can perform quick troubleshooting checks, such as indicating if concrete has properly set up or if there's a water leak behind a wall.
Able to measure a one-foot area from 40 feet away, the 2277-20 shares the same features as the Milwaukee's 2276-20 Laser Temp-Gun Thermometer, but with the ability to measure ambient humidity and dew points indoors.

Checking mechanical equipment or electrical circuit breakers in panels can be dangerous, but thanks to the 2277-20's high-performance features and safe design, you can quickly and easily gather infrared surface-temperature readings from -22 to 1,472 degrees Fahrenheit and contact surface-temperature readings from -40 to 1,022 degrees Fahrenheit.
Featuring a simple user interface and features that are specifically designed for professional, industrial, and commercial applications, the 2277-20 offers configurable high/low alarm settings, an adjustable emissivity range from 0.10 to 1.00, unit memory that stores up to 20 temperatures, and a lockable trigger for continuous readings.
It also shows minimum, maximum and average temperatures, as well as differences in temperature. The K-type thermocouple input measures contact temperature, and all results are shown on a high-contrast, best-in-class, easy-to-read display.
Easy to handle and hold, the 2277-20 has rugged over-molding for durability and a comfortable grip and comes equipped with a bright LED floodlight.
The 2277-20 is backed by a five-year warranty.

The 2277-20 owes its long-lasting, fade-free power to a 1.4-amp-hour lithium-ion battery. Since lithium-ion batteries are significantly smaller and lighter than competitive NiCad batteries, they play an integral role in making the 2277-20 ergonomic, comfortable to use, and easy to maneuver while you work. Also, lithium-ion batteries offer long battery life and charge in 30 minutes with the M12 charger. (not included)
