WinTV-CI is a USB2.0 device that provides a slot for a Conditional Access Module (CAM), which is used to decode the information from your subscription card. You should chose your CAM based on it s compatibility with your selected subscription card, as different providers use various different encryption types; therefore requiring different CAM s (consult your service provider and the lists below for information about compatible CAM s).
Use the WinTV-CI with either the WinTV software provided, or with Windows Media Center* giving you the power to watch, pause, rewind and record your TV shows with the addition of Pay TV , when combined with a valid subscription card and compatible CAM.
