Rare 1926 1-iron branding iron,current neb regstrn
An EXTREMELY hard to find 1-IRON electric branding iron. Legal description: three quarter block quarter circle. Electric cord approx. 12-14". Originally registered in Nebraska in 1926 (unfortunately, ONLY good in Nebr.) Willed to my dad by his grandfather, first holder of this brand. Registration fees all up-to-date. Last used 3 years ago for Carter Canyon Ranch branding. Since then, my folks (now 83!) have finally retired.
No NEW 1-iron brands are being issued these days (and haven't been for quite a while); you either have to inheirit them, or grab them quick when they come on the market. Winner will get all papers, including paid Nebraska branding iron fees (next due by Sept. 30, 2012; $50 every 5 yrs.)
ALSO INCLUDED: good (but used) heavy-duty 100 ft. extension cord, weighs about 10 lbs.
