I plugged in the unit and the red indicator light comes on, click the switch and the light goes off... so the switch (upper left hand corner) functions, but is a bit stiff.
This came out my father's HAM shack and he had quality items. However, I am not a HAM operator or particularly good with electronics, and I have no working knowledge of this item. I will answer questions to the best of my ability.
