Seemingly never even fully opened. The pages are clear and supple. Tightly intact inside of midnight blue embossed (thin) leather covers, (with marbled cobalt/gold over teal endpapers). 34 + sharply cut figures, diagrams (2 fold-outs) and line cuts are found throughout this text! Depicting all sorts of girder work, including; railroad bridge details, lateral truss systems, riveting designs, cross-section plans, i-beam highway spans, bedplates +++. Minor cover dirt, slight edge wear and tiny chipping to the top spine end are the only flaws to the outside of this 103-year-old original. Mild page yellowing (a little heavier in the intro-index) is the lone thing keeping the interior of this 5" by 7 3/4" beauty from being mint. That s it! Its 81 blue edged, heavy rag pages have no brittleness foxing rips tears wrinkles waving sticking mildew dogears underlines or even a fingersmudge.
