This listing is for a new Secco variable speed wet polisher and grinder.
Includes a full set of premium 4 inch GRANITE diamond polishing pads and rubber 4 inch x 5/8 - 11 threaded backer.
A wet polisher is the tool of choice to create a polished surface on concrete, granite, and stone. This custom wet polisher and diamond pad set is designed to help you bring a shine to almost any granite surface. Diamond polishing pads are used in sets. The 50 grit pad will prepare your surface by eliminating lipage, smoothing rough areas and removing deep scratches. The 50 grit pad is also great for shaping edges. The 100 grit will follow and so on until you reach the final grit where you should achieve a polished shine.
This unit is equipped with an 800 watt 8 amp motor and features a variable speed dial located at the rear of the grinder. The RPM range of this unit is 500 - 4500 rpm. The polisher has a quick connect brass coupling and is supplied with all necessary hoses and connectors to hook up a standard garden hose. The arbor is 5/8-11 UNC thread and is compatible with all 5/8 threaded and non threaded tools. Other features include:

* 360? adjustable 4" safety guard with integrated rubber splash skirt.

At high speed, this is the ideal tool for fast stock removal using diamond grinding wheels, zero tolerance wheels, diamond edge profile wheels, finger bits and diamond hole saws.
Adjust to a lower speed for optimal polishing with diamond polishing pads.
The 4" granite pad set included with your purchase features high diamond concentration throughout the grits and provides deep shine when polishing feldspar, quartz, Biotite, orthoclase and microcline, the main elements that comprise Granite. The pads are premium granite pads and include the rubber adapter that attaches to the grinder.
When it comes to diamond pads, they can be manufactured with high levels of diamond concentration and low levels of diamond concentration. This refers to the amount of actual diamond carat weight of a specific grit used within the resin bonded matrix. Naturally, diamonds are not cheap and as a rule of thumb inexpensive pads can have a low diamond concentration which may produce undesired results.
