8951 - General Purpose Polyester/Silicone Tape
8951 is a 2.8mil, polyester tape, primarily used to break flash in composite bonding as well as splicing silicone and non-silicone coated paper and films. Silicone adhesive allows for high temperature applications.
* Masking edges of overlap seams in metal bonding process where excess epoxy flows onto tape
* Clean-up is complete upon tape removal
* Cleanly removes from stainless steel, anodized aluminum and glass after a four-hour bake cycle at 350 F
* Holding parts or vacuum bags during bonding process
* Splicing silicone treated materials, including paper, liners and films
* One hour photo lab splicing tape
* Electrical insulation tape
* Masking parts in an anodizing process
