It s a Direct Bolt-on Replacement for Bridgeport 2J head (vari-speed) or J head (step-pulley) or the heads on other Bridgeport-type knee mills.
EVS drive allows stepless spindle speed change at a turn of a knob. Insist on the best. We use Japanese made Yaskawa variable frequency drive.
High Precision You Can Count On
Our milling spindles are hardened, precision ground and chromed.
The spindle is supported by high precision preloaded bearings that can also handle high thrust load.
Spindle runout is within 0.00015 .
Durable Design Features 3-Bearing Support
Within the milling motor there are two support bearings. With our millign head, there's an ADDITIONAL bearing to support the drive pulley at the end of the motor shaft. This is an important feature to ensure smooth power transmission and motor durability.
Avoid hunting for spare parts. Avoid the downtime and uncertainty of rebuilds.
A direct replacement is a straight forward and economical solution.

The milling head gross weight is 400 lbs, net weight is about 250 lbs.
Local pickup available. We'll help you load the milling head onto your truck for free.
You would need a forklift or a hydraulic lift to swap out the old head and bolt-on the new one.
