The construction is of Solid Wood there is no particle board or simulated wood. The piece is very sturdy. This model is solid white pine.
The outside dimensions are 44" Side to Side 32-1/2" Front to Back 16.5" Tall. The inside drawer measurements are 40" Side to Side 30" Front to Back and 2" High. The inside drawer measurements are based on the actual useable space.
