Antique Hit & Miss? 2 Cycle Gas Engine DOYLE Rare Motor
Here is a very rare Doyle gas engine. These are 2 stroke air cooled engine, perhaps intended for a lawnmower, scooter or washing machine. This engine has excellent compression. Has original muffler. Ignition components complete internally. Part of the aluminum frame that it was originally affixed to still remains on the engine. Original gas tank is present. Shouldn't take but a few minutes to get this one running. I would guess that it dates from the mid to late 1940s.
