Very pleasing soft blue illumination.
Blue LEDs suitable as panel lights like these are not common and cost $1-$2 each or more. Most blue LEDs that you'll find are the ultra-bright type which emit an intense beam. These glow softly at low currents and quite brightly at the full 30 mA, but the diffused lense makes them ideal for indicators. No harsh blinding beam.
