Machine was tested and cuts very well. The motorized backgauge moves very nicely and precisely. This paper cutter has a programmable backgauge controller which uses magnetic heads to read and write the cut program on a film strip. We could not get the Magna-spacer system to record marks on the program stripes, but during the program scan the machine did detect marks from previous programs. The remove mark funtion does work as we were able to remove a mark in the program. Overall the machine is in very good condition mechanically and hydraulically and cuts very well. The programmable backgauge controller does not write, but it does read some marks so it is partially working.
