20+ Chinese Blue Breasted Quail Hatching Eggs
You will receive at least 20 eggs from our Chinese Blue Breasted Quail also known in the pet trade as Button Quail, King Quail, and Chinese Painted Quail.
We feed a high protein custom feed made with 18% to 24% protein poultry or gamebird crumbles mixed 50/50 with a good finch seed feed .
We also give them boiled eggs chopped with the shells and all at least once a week.
They also receive cooked high protein grain, lentils, vegetables and sometimes beans a least once a week for treats.
They have access to crushed oyster shells for eating for the calcium at all times.
You could receive from 1 to 12 extra eggs depending on how well they are laying.
You will need to provide the incubator to hatch these eggs.
I pack very well with each egg wrapped in facial tissue, then all the eggs are wrapped together in bubble wrap, then packed in a box marked Fragile with lots of bubble wrap or clean plastic shopping bags wadded up, which ever I have more of that week.
You will receive eggs from breeding pairs in the Colony cage where the pairs are all together in one cage.
There is a 1 Male to 1 Female ratio in all my cages.
As you can see in the photos taken 10/30/2009, we are getting Whites, Red Breasted, Pearls, Normals, Silvers, Slates, Cinnamons, Blue Face and combo colors.
Your hatching rate will depend on how well the Post Office treats them and your incubator, etc.
I can not collect new eggs for you if your e-check takes a long time to clear.
