This is a MITUTOYO DIGI-POLE Code No. 980-181. It measure from end to end from a minimum of about 3 feet 5 inches, out to 16 feet. As the pole extends the digital readout keeps track of the distance. We added new batteries and checked the stick with our tape measure and the unit is right on. We will guarantee that it is in good working condition. Comes with a carrying case.
