Silkie pure breed chicken incubator hatching eggs 9+
Average mature weight for the male is 36 oz. & the female is 32 oz.
Silkies are quiet and friendly ornamental chickens that originated in Asia. These beautiful birds have silky , hair-like feathers and dark, purplish black skin and a walnut comb. Silkies lay small lightly tinted or white eggs and are very broody. I have white, black, partridge and splash colors. You will receive a variety. I keep most of them together but I do keep some whites separate because they are my favorite. When I gather the eggs from the white ones I mark them WS. If the hens stop laying and I can't fill your order you will receive a full refund and a discount to use on a future egg purchase.
Pictured is one of the chicken houses that we have. It's closed up in the winter and completely opened when the weather is warm. Each breed is kept in a separated section. I will be offering other pure breeds in the spring such as White Crested Polish, Phoenix, Sumatras, White Frizzles, and Giant Blue Cochins.
