This Pyrex 8-inch desiccator is used. The desiccator has been maintained in excellent condition. There are no breaks or cracks, and only a few tiny chips on the inside rim of the bowl. These tiny chips are inconsequential, and are mentioned merely in the interests of full disclosure.
You will need to use your own vacuum grease to create a good seal, and to reduce the risk of chipping of the rims.
The desiccator will come supplied with a Coors perforated porcelain plate glazed on one side, and a small amount of desiccant.
